Boyd loves the Christmas tree. After I took it down he kept asking to put it back up. When tucking him in I asked, What should we do special tomorrow. To which he replied, "Put the tree back up."

Our Gingerbread House. Boyd had been asking for weeks to make one. On my way home from my long run on a day they were predicting snow and ice I picked up this kit and here's the final creation.

Barber

I have a lot of catch up to do on the blog but decided to quick share a once in a lifetime experience Boyd shared with his new barber.  Boyd decided he did indeed need a haircut (finally) however, he wanted his haircut to look like Jay from Lego Ninjago (his newest favorite and thing he pretends to be).  Boyd had us look up a picture to show the barber so she would get it right.  We obliged.  This was the picture we found...

Note Jay is the one on the lower left.

The barber played along and here is a smiling Boyd with his friend Freddy the frog(a take home and share an adventure with opportunity as well as a journaling project-of course Boyd would dress him in pajamas but that is another post).
